Harold L. Joslin

Harold L. Joslin of Potosi, Missouri was born Saturday, February 7, 1920 in Dunklin County, Missouri a son of the late Mary (Pruett) Joslin and Leander Joslin. Harold departed this life Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital at the age of Eighty-four Years, Nine Months and Twelve Days.

Harold was united in marriage to Juanita Elizabeth Whitt Waltman July 27, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri where they made their home until they moved to Potosi a few years ago.

Harold served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Harold is survived by his loving wife Juanita Joslin of Potosi, Missouri; Four sons, Fred Joslin, wife Linda and grandson Jeremy of Kennett, Missouri, Harold Joslin of Arkansas, granddaughter, Stephanie Joslin Whritenour and husband, great granddaughter LeeAnn and great grandson Kevin of San Antonio, Texas, Bob Waltman and wife JoAnn of Parhrump, Nevada, Ricky Waltman of DesArc, Missouri; One daughter, Bonnie Radford of Potosi, Missouri; Son-in-law, Fred Radford of Potosi, Missouri; Twelve grandchildren, Nineteen Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandchild and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by Two sons, Ronald Waltman and Clyde Waltman; Two Sisters, Ola Liley and Nellie; Two Brothers, Harm Joslin and Jessy Joslin.

Harold enjoyed the many gifts of life, especially his wife and family. He loved to spend time tinkering around the house or just chatting with Juanita. He always had a smile or took time to visit when someone would stop by. Harold was always ready to go to the Grocery store or to walk and visit at Wal Mart. Harold enjoyed relaxing at the television to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams. He would make the time to watch Wheel of Fortune and if he could would watch it four or five times a day. No one could solve the puzzles as quickly as he could.

Visitation was held Sunday, November 21, 2004 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, November 21, 2004 at 5:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev. Curtis B. Warren officiating.

Burial was in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. The Missouri Funeral Honors Team gave full rites including folding and presentation of the American Flag, Taps and the Rifle Salute.

Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
